It is the first municipality in Valtournenche and a tourist resort located at an altitude of 1074 m at the foot of the mountains that precede the Tantané massif. The landscape consists of vast meadows overlooked by coniferous forests and aided by a temperate climate and the favorable position of the territory, sheltered from prevailing winds.
